These are meridian based, whole body treatments that may include:
Auriculotherapy – a health care procedure in which stimulation of the auricle of the external ear is utilized to alleviate health conditions in other parts of the body, originally based upon the ancient Chinese practices of acupuncture.
Korean hand acupuncture – theorizes that the hands are a micro-cosmos of the body. According to the theory of Korean Hand Therapy, there are 14 micro-meridians and 345 acupuncture points on our hands which regulate the internal organs of human body, thus the physiological function of the entire body can be regulated by stimulating the corresponding acupuncture points on our hands.
Moxibustion – is an externally applied TCM treatment using a Chinese herb called Moxa (Artemisia argyi), commonly known as ‘Mugwort’. For external use Moxa is compressed and rolled into an herbal stick. Moxa sticks are then lit and held over acupuncture points.
Cosmetic acupuncture – is meant to be a natural skin rejuvenation technique that stimulates the body’s healing energies and increases circulation to reduce wrinkles, fine lines and folds. Acupuncture is an effective anti-aging treatment; so much so it replaces the need for plastic surgery. During cosmetic acupuncture treatments, such as the Re-New You Face Lift, tiny acupuncture needles are inserted in regions of the body to unblock one’s “qi”, or vital energy. (Multiple sessions are administered over a 12 week period.)
